# Palavra

Palavra is a simple proof-of-concept LaTeX editor that runs entirely in the browser — no backend required. It’s built using [SwiftLaTeX](https://github.com/SwiftLaTeX/SwiftLaTeX), a powerful WebAssembly project that enables in-browser LaTeX compilation.

This project isn’t meant to replace [Overleaf](https://www.overleaf.com/), but rather to explore what’s possible with modern browser technologies. It was a fun way to learn more about WebAssembly and LaTeX rendering, and to prototype a fully client-side editing experience.
